An All-American as a player and a National Championship winning coach, former Concordia University assistant Lindsey Campbell has been named assistant coach for the University of Pittsburgh women’s volleyball program, as announced by head coach Dan Fisher.
Campbell comes with Fisher from Concordia after being an integral part of team’s unparalleled success over the past two seasons which culminated in the Eagles winning the 2012 NAIA National Championship. Fisher and Campbell coached Concordia University to a 75-2 record over the past two seasons.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Lindsey for the past two seasons and I know first-hand what an asset she will be,” Fisher said. “Lindsey knows the game at a high level, she is a people person and she understands the type of team culture we want to create. Pitt volleyball is lucky to have her on board.”
