The 'Burg Plays Host to Pro Volleyball

The Association of Volleyball Professionals has chosen the 'Burg to be the site of its East Coast stop as part of the 2013 national tour, which is set to take place September 14-15 at Vinoy Park. 

Touring with the AVP this year includes U.S.A volleyball Gold Medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings among other top athletes. According to a survey featured on the AVP website, St. Petersburg is the tour stop that everyone is most excited about thus far. This nationally televised event will be an opportunity for local businesses to participate and act as sponsors.
