Pavlik was a first-team all-conference choice while playing outside hitter at UCI. She set the school record for hitting percentage in a single match as a senior, and recorded the third-best hitting percentage in a season for the Anteaters.

Pavlik began her career at Montana, where she played two seasons and was named to the all-tournament team in all three of the tourneys Montana played in during her sophomore campaign.

In 2006 she was an undergraduate assistant coach for the UCI volleyball team.
