With fan support, Chase could give Dig For Kids a share of $5 million.
Dig For Kids is in the running to receive a share of $5 million from Chase, and you can help make it happen!
Fans have until Friday to support Dig For Kids by visiting Facebook’s Chase Community Giving contest page and casting a vote for Dig For Kids. Chase is giving away $5 million to various charities, which will be determined by online voting.
Dig For Kids provides low-income children increased opportunities in academics and sports. Dig For Kids' eight-week fall and spring after school programs help 100 students in Florida, Washington and California for three hours a day. The first two hours, for education, emphasize homework. The third hour is in the gym, where Dig For Kids uses volleyball to help kids understand teamwork.
“Most of our dollars, we spend on the kids,” says Dig For Kids Founder/President Eric Fonoimoana, 2000 Olympic gold medalist and 2002 AVP MVP. “We educate them on the importance of education and exercising programs.”
