By: AVP Staff, on 01/05/2010
Athletes for Hope's virtual giving campaign will donate to charities of athletes who raise the most money and attract the most donors.
AVP athletes are seeking support to raise money and awareness for a worthy cause, and you can help.
Current pros Nicole Branagh, Brittany Hochevar, Angela Knopf, Jenn Snyder and Chrissie Zartman and legend Eric Fonoimoana are competing with other professional athletes in an online fundraising challenge entitled “Racing for a Cause,” a virtual race for charity.
Charities can win a bonus donation in two ways: they can either attract the most donors or raise the most money. Prizes range from $10,000 for first place to $5,000 for second place to $2,500 for third place, with the prize money going to each athlete’s respective charity. Especially in the competition for most donors, please remember no donation is too small. Donations will be accepted through Jan. 15.
