AVP youth net systems are easily transportable from the backyard to the beach.
Kids can now rule the beach, thanks to a new AVP tradition!
Tournament Sundays at approximately 10 a.m. on an outer court at the event site, the AVP will set up newly designed AVP Juniors Net Systems. This will enable kids 12 and under who attend AVP events to play on a smaller court and lower net that is just their size.
The smaller court area and lower net allows children to perform to their highest potential, increasing their confidence and generating more interest in the sport, according to AVP Director of Sport Development Nikki Allen. "We used the nets at the [Hermosa Beach] camp with the eight-year-olds and they loved them," Allen said.
The net system includes poles equipped for five standard settings: 6'0"; 6'6'; 7'0"; 7'4"; and 8' 0". As a child's skills improve and he/she grows, the net height can easily be adjusted accordingly. The net system is completely portable and easy to transport from the backyard to the beach.
The AVP will sell these portable and adjustable nets systems soon, so come check them out as you watch for the next beach volleyball stars!
