64 athletes' hard work, determination, and endurance over the past four months has led to this point. Barefoot champions are set to arrive in San Francisco and attend a welcome reception today at 7 p.m. Wednesday. From there, they will prepare for the biggest tournament in most of their careers.

Play starts Thursday at 8 a.m. sharp and will continue until the single-elimination tournament's men's and women's finals at approximately 4 p.m. and 5:15 p.m., respectively, at Stadium Court.

During the day, Barefoot league winners will have the opportunity to hang out with Olympic gold medalists Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers. Media will get their turn to talk to Phil, Todd, and Barefoot athletes at a meet-and-greet during the Championship Cup finals at Stadium Court.

Many athletes playing in the championship have already had a taste of AVP main draw play by qualifying this year and in before. For example, Rico Becker of Phoenix has qualified for 24 main draws since 2000. Another rising star is Dana Fiume of East End Volleyball in New York. Fiume has played in six AVP main draws this year alone. With these and other athletes vying for the main draw, Aug. 13 looks to be an extremely exciting day of great beach volleyball.

Check out the list of winners below and cheer on your local favorites by following along here at AVP.com, the AVP Barefoot site, and Volleyball Nation!
