AVP Pro Beach Volleyball is pleased to announce the addition of veteran sports marketing executive Tom Fox to the AVP Board of Directors, effective immediately.

“I have been a fan of the sport for many years and believe that there is significant potential to grow the brand and the business,” Fox said. “I look forward to working with the new management team and the Board to help make this happen.”

Fox has more than 20 years of experience in brand management and sports marketing at world-renowned sports marketing organizations including the NBA, Nike, Gatorade and most recently the Wasserman Media Group.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to bring Tom to our board,” said Jason Hodell, CEO, AVP Pro Beach Volleyball. “Tom brings considerable expertise in the sports marketing world, and we are sure he will be an incredible asset to the AVP.”

Fox is the latest in a line of new additions to the AVP Board, following Tony Ponturo’s appointment in June.
