CEO Challenges is excited to announce the newest competition for executives and celebrities: the CEO AVP Challenge! The event, which will take place in conjunction with AVP Pro Beach Volleyball's Las Vegas tour stop in September, is for executive and celebrity beach volleyball players of all abilities, but has been designed to also identify the best players.

For the first time, executives and celebrities who share a passion for beach volleyball will have the opportunity to play together in a professionally organized tournament. And, following a day and a half of round robin matches, the top four will go head-to-head on Stadium Court in front of the crowds in between the women's and men's professional final matches. The CEO AVP Challenge takes place September 17-19, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, with proceeds going to the Challenged Athletes Foundation charity.

"We are very pleased to announce the AVP CEO Challenge in Las Vegas, and would like to officially extend an invitation for all executive and celebrity volleyball players to join us," said Justin Kamm, EVP, AVP Pro Beach Volleyball. "We know that the AVP CEO Challenge will add an extra level of excitement to our Las Vegas event."

The event is open to CEOs, Business Owners, and Presidents of companies with at least $1 million in annual gross revenue. Celebrities and C-Suite Executives of companies with at least $2 million in revenue are also invited to attend.

It's going to be a great couple of days of volleyball, camaraderie and competition."

Players will receive complete VIP access to the AVP Las Vegas event, including access to the VIP Hospitality Tent on stadium court all three days, a professionally organized tournament just for them, entry into a Private Players Party, and a very special welcome kit including game ball, Crocs, and unique, exclusive apparel designed for the event by Champion Systems.
