Play Delayed At Houston Open Presented by Warehouse Pool Supply
Main draw will continue Sunday at 7:30 a.m. CT

After much deliberation, Tournament Director, Matt Gage has decided it is best to postpone play until Sunday morning.
Olympic gold medalists and top seeds Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers advanced to the fourth round of play at the AVP Crocs Tour Houston Open Presented by Warehouse Pool Supply before play was delayed overnight due to inclement weather. Their top-ranked counterparts on the women’s side, fellow Beijing Olympians Nicole Branagh and Elaine Youngs, also advanced.
Main Draw play will continue at 7:30 a.m. CT at Westside Tennis Club in Houston. Tickets from Saturday’s session will be transferable for Sunday’s action.
Dalhausser and Rogers will face off against No. 4 seeds Sean Scott and John Hyden, while Branagh and Youngs will also take on the No. 4 seeds, Dianne DeNechochea and University of Texas alum Carrie Dodd. Both matches, along with the rest of the Winner’s Bracket matches, will commence at 7:30 a.m. CT. The Contender’s Bracket matches will begin at 8:30 a.m. CT.
Earlier in the day, Dalhausser and Rogers sent No. 8 seeds Anthony Medel and Hans Stolfus to the Contender’s Bracket in two games: 21-12, 12-17.
In their first match of the day, Branagh and Youngs defeated ninth-seeded Michelle More and Nancy Mason 21-15, 21-13. T
