Sean Rosenthal won the men's pool play round.
The 2009 AVP Johnsonville Hot Winter Nights Tour continued tonight, as AVP Pros hit the sand at the Rose Quarter in Portland, Oregon.
The results from the women’s pool play round are as follows:
Match 1: Kessy/Branagh 15 vs. Fendrick/Ross 12
Match 2: Kessy/Fendrick 15 vs. Branagh/Ross 10
Match 3: Kessy/Ross 11 vs. Branagh/Fendrick 15
On the men’s side of the competition, pool play results are as follows:
Match 1: Gibb/Jennings 15 vs. Rogers/Rosenthal 17
Match 2: Gibb/Rogers 12 vs. Jennings/Rosenthal 15
Match 3: Gibb/Rosenthal 24 vs. Jennings/Rogers 22
After pool play concluded, all eight AVP Pros teamed up to provide fans with an exciting, four-on-four, final exhibition match.
Women’s pool play winner, Lauren Fendrick, chose her team of Nicole Branagh, Jake Gibb, and Todd Rogers.
Men’s pool play winner, Sean Rosenthal, teamed up with Casey Jennings, Jen Kessy, and April Ross.
At the end of the night Fendrick’s team defeated Rosenthal’s team, with a final score of 19 to 17.
